First of all, let's skip the part where I write in third person to pretend like I'm not writing this myself. Here's a little bit about my background: I grew up in Denmark and started playing accordion when I was six years old. Playing accordion was the perfect introduction to the power of music, because I could play melodies and accompany myself without anything or anyone else. I loved playing accordion until I realized it wasn't “cool” around age 13. My uncles played and still play great guitar, and I've always loved their playing so that was a easy choice. From there on I was 100% hooked on music, and as soon as I was done with the basic education in Denmark I packed a duffle bag and two guitars and headed to The US to pursue a dream I hadn't quite defined yet. I studied at Musician's Institute for a year and graduated with aLL the frills in 2007.
During the past 10 years I've had the chance to perform, record, write, produce and tour with artists like John Fogerty, Pink, Taylor Swift, Guy Sebastian, Tim Armstrong AKA Tim Timebomb, Faith Evans, Cam and many more equally talented but much less famous artists. I've had the honor of playing on grammy nominated songs and albums, performed on national TV shows like “The Tonight Show", “Ellen”, “The Today Show” and many more. Most recently, I've been writing, producing and performing with up'n coming, grammy-nominated country artist Cam, who last year had the #1 radio single and platinum-selling song “Burning House”. I wrote, produced and played multiple instruments on her debut-album “Untamed”, and we continue to write, perform and record together.
Throughout it all I make it a high priority to never let my busy schedule get in the way of a new collaboration or creative relationship! I'm always looking for the next thing.
